'School of Spectacle' Plovdiv, Bulgaria 2017 Oct
This project, managed by Walk The Plank group, tooks part in many capitals, who became Cultural Capital Of Europe. Idea is to share practical and theoretical experience about public events. During October, Plovdiv 2019 and Walk the Plank completed the third School of Spectacle. Bulgarian artists – designer Maria Koycheva, mime Guerassim Dichliev, Rozie and Plamen Ivanov of Fireter Theatre, and digital artist Petko Tanchev – worked together alongside Walk the Plank’s team (Creative Producer Liz Pugh, technical expert Rob Hill and Learning Director Alexis Johnson) and Jym Daley of FidgetFeet to deliver training in design/scenography, projection & building mapping, AV production, fire technology and production management. Then participants from 5 European countries worked collaboratively in small groups to create an installation and performance inspired by the idea of transporting the spirit of Plovdiv’s abandoned Adata Island into the urban landscape. Padare of Šančiai 'Kėdė' ('Chair'), Kaunas 2017 Sep
After the 'School of Spectacle' in Kaunas creative people and community share their experience with local schools, library and other companies based on Šančiai. In September many of them took part in parade with there own performances, handmade masks and chairs. Parade took main Juozapavičiaus avenue of Šančiai area. In old times there was many military parades made, cause the area is build for military too. Now parade its not the show, but connections, creative and collaborative process. For this event I create a big chair, impossible to sit but covered with 100 small chair for community people. During parade chair was drawn by David Nanoon ( Ambassador of Ireland) and Egle Deltuvaitė (Head of Creative Europe Desk in Lithuania). And in the end, near the river all had nice picnic and sit to talk in small chairs-in one level. Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=krvyWwMTyWU |

'Susikirtimai' audiovisual installation in collaboration with Sodas Sounds, Kala Sound System (21min.).
Artists: Dominykas, Morkūnas, Martynas Gailius (sound) and Egle Gudonyte, Teodoras Malinauskas (visuals). Organized by Kirtimų kultūros centras (Manager- Paulius Burakas) The work explores the clashing of dissonance and consonance, at the same time creating tension and release in the body through sound waves. Mostly low frequencies are used to maximise the effect. Water is used to portray what the listener feels in the body when experiencing the piece, through a phenomena known as cymatics.
